Dr. Jeffery Chapman, Sr. is the founder and Senior Pastor of Raleigh North Christian Center, a non-denominational church in Raleigh, North Carolina. Appointed by God to reach the lost, the hurting and the forgotten, Dr.
Chapman's ministry promotes sound doctrine and understanding of
the Word of God, emphasizing foundational truths and family values.
Through ministering to the men and women of Southeast Raleigh,
Dr. Chapman saw that the people were searching for fulfillment in all
the wrong places: drugs, alcohol and prostitution. Being led by God,
in the summer of 1998, Dr. Chapman began teaching a Friday Night
Bible Study in Raleigh's inner-city to better reach the people in their
own environment.

In 2000, Dr. Chapman re-entered Seminary to continue his Christian
Education. That same year Dr. Chapman initiated Early Sunday
Morning Services for a group of homeless people in Garner; as well
as Outdoor Church Services on Saturdays in East Raleigh.
In October of 2000, Dr. Chapman started
a Bible Study in his home with nine
members, and Raleigh North Christian
Center was born. Six weeks later, on
December 2, 2000, Raleigh North
Christian Center had its first Sunday
Morning Service on Hargett Street in a
halfway house. On December 10, 2000,
RNCC began having Sunday Services at
Carolina Pines Community Center.
In four months, the congregation grew from
nine members to 24 members while at
Carolina Pines. On April 1, 2001 RNCC
moved to Lions Park Community Center,
ironically right behind Raleigh North
Apartments where Dr. Chapman previously
held Outdoor Church Services.
At this time the congregation more than
tripled, increasing from 24 members to 90
members. In 2003, Raleigh North Christian Center relocated to its own building on Louisburg Road in North Raleigh, where the exponential growth continued; so much that two services were held each Sunday to accommodate all the people that were coming. God was showing Raleigh North Christian Center great FAVOR. So, in 2008, RNCC purchased land 1.5 miles up from its old location. RNCC opened the doors to its new, much larger, facility at 6021 Louisburg Road in February of 2010. Presently Raleigh North Christian Center is home to over 900 members and growing.
Dr. Chapman holds a Doctorate Degree in Theology from the North Carolina School of Theology in Wilmington, North Carolina and a Master's Degree in Christian Education from Beacon University in Columbus, Georgia.
A dedicated family man, Dr. Chapman has been married for more than 28 years to his lovely and talented wife, Sandie Hickman Chapman. Together, they are the proud parents of three children: Shannon Chapman Parker who resides in California with husband Jesse Parker and son Jesse Joseph Parker III, Jeffery, Jr. of Raleigh and the Executive Assistant to Pastor and Mariah, the youngest who currently attends North Raleigh
Christian Academy. The Chapman family resides in Raleigh, North
Carolina.
